MEET ARIEL ROSE
CO-FOUNDER & EXTENSION SPECIALIST
Ariel has been behind the chair for 18 years and is the co-founder of Aura by Gervais in Eugene, Oregon. As an owner, her focus has expanded beyond the chair—building a salon rooted in education, growth, and an exceptional client experience.
While Ariel began her career with a love for blonding, she has spent the last 11 years specializing in keratin extensions, refining her approach through thousands of hours of hands-on experience and advanced education. Her work is known for seamless blends, customized placements, and a deep commitment to long-term hair health.
Her passion is helping clients achieve the healthiest, most beautiful version of their hair—results that feel effortless, natural, and truly their own. Every service is approached with long-term integrity in mind, ensuring the hair continues to improve over time.
As a salon owner and educator, Ariel is equally dedicated to developing her team. She works closely with her stylists to build their skills, confidence, and careers—creating an environment where both clients and stylists feel supported, seen, and cared for.
Whether behind the chair or mentoring her team, her goal is the same: to help people feel confident, empowered, and aligned with the best version of themselves.

MEET KAYLA MAY
Kayla is a Keratin Bond Extension Specialist known for creating seamless, natural-looking transformations with a strong focus on hair health. With over 15 years behind the chair, she specializes in keratin extensions, lived-in blonding, and soft, dimensional color that grows out beautifully.
After years of specializing in color and education, Kayla discovered her true passion in transformative work—blending extensions and color to create hair that looks and feels like it’s always been yours.
Whether you’re looking for more length, fullness, or a brighter, more dimensional blonde, Kayla’s goal is always the same—beautiful results that maintain the health of your natural hair.
After experiencing extensions herself, she fell in love with the confidence they can bring and has since dedicated her craft to helping clients achieve their dream hair in a realistic, sustainable way.
When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her spending time with her husband Jordan, son Carson, and their dog Lola-usually somewhere outdoors.
MEET JOSIE

Josie began her career in the beauty industry after becoming licensed in April 2025. Since then, she has been dedicated to refining her craft through hands-on experience and continued education, with a strong focus on creating healthy, dimensional hair.
Over the past 8 months, Josie has worked closely alongside senior stylists Ariel and Kayla, continuing her education and building her skills in blonding, cutting, and color formulation. She has a strong passion for blonding and loves creating soft, dimensional color that feels natural, bright, and effortless to maintain.
Josie is known for her incredible attention to detail and thoughtful approach behind the chair. She brings a warm, welcoming energy to every appointment and takes pride in making her clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident from start to finish.
She works intentionally and takes her time, ensuring every detail is right and every result feels seamless and personalized.
Josie is a beautiful fit for someone who values a detail-oriented approach and wants a stylist who takes the time to get it right.
As she continues to grow, she is currently building her clientele and welcoming new guests who are excited to grow with her 🤍
Outside of the salon, Josie enjoys spending time with friends and family and continuing to invest in her personal and professional growth.
MEET KENZI
Kenzi began her career in the beauty industry after graduating from cosmetology school in October 2025 and is continuing her education with us at Aura by Gervais. From the start, she has shown a strong dedication to refining her skills, with a focus on creating healthy, beautiful hair for every client who sits in her chair.
She is especially drawn to blonding and is currently building her foundation through hands-on experience, advanced education, and mentorship—working closely with our owner Ariel and senior stylist Kayla. She loves creating soft, natural-looking color and is focused on developing results that feel seamless and easy to maintain.
Kenzi has a natural attention to detail and takes pride in working thoughtfully and intentionally throughout every appointment. She is known for her warm, welcoming energy and her ability to make clients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from start to finish.

MEET THE FOUNDERS OF AURA BY GERVAIS
SHARAH MADRONE & ARIEL ROSE
Ariel and Sharah have been working together for over 14 years!
Sharah has owned Gervais for 21 years and has grown it from one location to a top 200 multi-location salon with over 60 employees.
Sharah is a business coach and mentor to other salon owners. She has a passion for helping people not only reach their goals, but exceed well beyond their goals while providing the support they need as they're working to get there.
Sharah's main goal in growing a larger salon and wellness spa was to be able to support her employees with incredible benefits and an extraordinary place to work.
Sharah hired Ariel as a stylist in 2010 when she was just 21 years old and only 2 years into her career as a stylist. Ariel has always had a strong connection to education. Not only for herself but mentoring stylists and helping them build their dream career.
Sharah supported Ariel's dream to become a blonding and extension specialist by sending her to several of the top trainings all over the US during her career at Gervais.
The incredible culture and environment Sharah created at Gervais is what has what supported Ariel's continuous growth and success in her 14 vear career there. Sharah's leadership stvle has had such a huge impact on Ariel, that she asked Sharah to partner with her in opening a space that could offer a unique experience for not only clients seeking specialty services, but the stylists creating them as well.
Not only did Ariel and Sharah plan to create an extraordinary quest experience but they aimed to create an incredible environment for stylists to thrive and grow their careers. This is where Aura by Gervais was born.

It's our goal at Aura to create such an incredible environment for our stylists and clients that it leaves a lasting impression of positivity and confidence that they can carry with them into all areas of their lives.
